Title: Electrician (Journeyman) (NOC: 7241)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day
Salary: $23.00 to $29.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Bonus, Other Benefits
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Electrician Trade Certification, 4th Period Apprentice
Experience: 3 - 5 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Major Work Area: Maintenance
Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Industrial
Type of Equipment: Programmable logic controls and associated devices, Motors and controls, Electronic devices, Conventional electrical devices

Specific Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications, Prepare layouts for machinery and controls, Install, replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes, Splice, join and connect wires, Troubleshoot and isolate faults, Conduct preventive maintenance programs

Additional Skills: Keep maintenance reports and documentation, Design and construct low voltage (30 to 750V) multiphase service for single or multimeter installations, Determine appropriate selection of materials and methods for hazardous locations

Security and Safety: Bondable

Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Physically demanding

Work Site Environment: At heights, Confined spaces

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Valid driver's licence
